    Visit your GP and request a referral addressed to Melbourne Psychiatry Clinic or your preferred psychiatrist. A valid referral is required to access Medicare rebates.

  2. Send Us Your Referral

    Contact our clinic by phone or email and send us your referral. Our team will be happy to assist you step by step on this process.

  3. Referral Review

    Our clinical triage team will carefully review your referral and match you with the psychiatrist whose expertise and availability best meet your needs.

  4. Book Your Appointment

    Once your referral has been reviewed, we will contact you to arrange your initial appointment, which may be a comprehensive psychiatric assessment depending on your referral.

  5. Complete Pre-Appointment Forms

    Before your appointment, you may be asked to complete a few questionnaires or provide additional information to help your psychiatrist prepare for your consultation.

  6. Attend Your Consultation

    Attend your appointment either in person or via secure telehealth. Your psychiatrist will undertake a comprehensive assessment and work with you.
